    Evidence-Based Techniques

    As your therapist, I use a range of evidence-based therapies to support you in a way that fits your needs. I work in a person-centred and humanistic way, which means I see you as the expert on your own life and I offer warmth, respect, and understanding so you can feel safe to explore what’s going on for you. I also use psychodynamic therapy, which looks at how your past experiences and relationships might be affecting how you feel and act now, helping you to understand yourself more deeply. Together, we may use cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) to help you notice and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviours, and mindfulness practices to help you feel calmer and more present. My aim is to help you understand yourself better, find new ways to cope with challenges, and support you in making changes that feel right for you.

    Confidential and Supportive Environment

    I believe that having a confidential and supportive space is essential for your healing and growth. It is important that you feel safe to share whatever is on your mind without fear of judgment or others finding out. Everything you bring to our sessions is treated with respect and care. Confidentiality helps to build trust, allowing you to explore your thoughts and feelings honestly and at your own pace in a calm, accepting space where you can feel truly heard and supported as you work through the challenges you are facing and move towards the changes you wish to make.
